Terms of use

Effective July 30, 2026. BaristaUp is a California-based service. Creating a bar or placing an order means you accept these Terms. Owners must be 18 or older. BaristaUp is for free, personal, noncommercial home-barista use. It is not a payment, commercial food-service, or guaranteed-fulfillment service.

You must provide an email address you control and keep account information current. Protect your password, devices, verification codes, and verification links. An email signup becomes an account and coffee bar only after email verification. Verification and recovery messages are functional service email, not a marketing subscription.

BaristaUp provides ordering software. Owners choose ingredients, prepare drinks, manage invitations, and are responsible for safety, sanitation, allergens, legality, and fulfillment. Guests must confirm ingredient and allergy concerns with the owner.

Do not automate registrations, bypass quotas, guess credentials, stuff passwords, probe security without written permission, or interfere with another bar. Invitations are shareable access credentials. We may throttle or temporarily disable email signup to protect the service and its free-provider capacity.

Google, legacy ChatGPT authentication, Resend, Cloudflare, alerts, live updates, verification, and recovery delivery may be delayed, rejected, or unavailable. Existing password login can remain available when new verification email is paused.

The service is provided "as is" and "as available." To the extent permitted by law, BaristaUp is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. Total liability is limited to the greater of US $100 or fees paid during the previous 12 months. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.

We may change, suspend, or discontinue BaristaUp and may suspend misuse. BaristaUp owns its software and branding. Owners retain submitted bar information and permit its use only to operate the service. Account deletion removes active BaristaUp records, while mailbox copies and provider recovery data age out under the Privacy notice. California law governs these Terms, subject to mandatory consumer rights. Contact support@baristaup.com.
